Build Lean Muscle and Burn Fat

How to build lean muscleThe most difficult thing about trying to build lean muscle today is the amount of hype that exists in the market, all the shiny new machines and fabulous looking fitness models standing by them.I f you just consider the truth of it for a moment building lean muscle or indeed burning fat takes A lot of hard work, dedication and, usually involves a change of lifestyle if only from a diet point of view. You also need a plan, there is no point just rushing down the gym and throwing weights about.Or starving yourself to try and lose weight. If you look at today’s natural bodybuilders and I stress the word natural, it took them years to attain the bodies they have now and normally the body you see, is when they are in competition mode i.e. really low body fat. The following items are required if you are serious about learning how to build lean muscle.

Ø  You need to have Goals both long term and attainable short term

Ø  Access to good wholesome food (nothing fancy or expensive required) ,more on this later

Ø  Somewhere to train.( Again can be your backyard or garage)

Ø  And what I consider to be the most important, the mindset to achieve your goals.

I will expand the points above, you need to have a goal, or if you like a destination to arrive at. Just as there would be no point getting in a car and driving off without a clear destination in mind there is no point starting your quest to build lean muscle without a plan to enable you to succeed. You should have a short term (about three months) where you want to say lose X amount of fat or increase your chest by a certain factor. And a long term goal, it’s a good idea to visualize this goal when you are exercising. Tip – make your initial short term goal easily attainable to avoid disappointment, you can set your next short term goal after analysing your first three months.
